Product Support Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Product Support Specialist to join our team in Barnsley, on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
As a Product Support Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our Mortgage Club products are updated and accurate, adhering to relevant processes and controls to maintain compliance. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders, including lenders and brokers, to resolve complex queries and work closely with the Product Owner and Operations & Commercial Manager to ensure they have relevant information needed to make decisions on priorities for change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply relevant process controls to ensure all products remain accurate and compliant
- Owning relevant processes to ensure they remain relevant and that as a result Legal & General Mortgage Services' (LGMS) products remain compliant
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze feedback, including complaints, to identify improvements
- Interact with lenders, brokers, and other key stakeholders over complex queries and act upon requested lender changes to update products, criteria, or affordability mapping
- Owning and maintaining records of key information related to LGMS products to ensure they remain accurate
- Review products to ensure accuracy is maintained and any errors are identified and corrected
- Monitor, analyze, and report on user outcomes and experience, handling more complex queries and escalations
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of the UK mortgage market
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to work under pressure in an orderly and accurate manner
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Good experience in managing stakeholder expectations and demonstrating actions that show an appropriate balance of stakeholder and commercial needs
- An ability to proactively escalate decisions based on the evaluation of risks and all available information
