About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Receptionist to join our team at HC-One's Coppice Lodge care home. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, including new enquirers, friends and family members of residents, health & social care professionals and members of the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet visitors, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Deal with all types of enquiries, offering advice and support face-to-face and over the telephone
  • Support the Home Manager and Administrator in clerical duties, maintaining accurate filing and working to deadlines
  • Ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed in a timely manner, using your initiative and working independently

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, with a strong understanding of the importance of first impressions
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a professional and friendly manner over the telephone and face-to-face
  • Ability to work independently, using your initiative and judgment
