The King Co is seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team in Wolverhampton and Bilston. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, and social needs of our children are met consistently to a high standard.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is £32,500 - £34,000, based on the provided information.

Job Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working in partnership with social workers, education professionals, police, health services, and other stakeholders to support the needs of our children.
  • Participating in a shift pattern including days, evenings, waking nights, weekends, bank holidays, sleeping-in duties, and lone working arrangements.
  • Engaging with probation, induction, supervision, staff meetings, learning and development, and appraisal processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A willingness and ability to achieve or hold the NVQ Level 4 Diploma for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least two years of experience working in a childcare setting as a Senior Support Worker.
  • A thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the 9 standards.
  • The ability to work within child protection procedures and safeguarding children practices.
