Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure personalized support.
  • Deliver comprehensive training and guidance to teaching staff on differentiation techniques and strategies for supporting students with varied needs.
  • Serve as a vital liaison between parents, external professionals, and the school community, fostering open communication and cooperation.

To excel in this role, you should have a solid foundation in SEND legislation, policies, and best practices. Prior experience as a SENCO or in a similar leadership position is crucial. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to drive positive change and inspire others.
