Secondary School SENCO Position

Promoting academic excellence and social inclusion, our partner school in Bexley seeks an experienced SENCO to lead their dedicated SEND team. As a key member of the school community, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities- Implement effective strategies to support students with SEND, ensuring they receive tailored education plans that cater to their unique requirements.
- Mentor and train teaching staff on best practices for adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents, external professionals, and colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices. A proven track record in leading SEND teams and developing individualized education plans is essential. You will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate others.
