As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be working closely with our client, a prominent Swansea-based insurer who are undergoing a significant tech transformation. The role involves developing and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript. You will also design and implement secure, high-performance backend services and create frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining web applications using Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript
  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services
  • Creating and maintaining frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in full-stack engineering roles and proficiency in JavaScript, along with experience with at least one modern frontend framework. A solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs, is essential. Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is also required. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.

The salary for this position is up to £70,000 per annum.
