Veterinary Care Professional

Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire
Working Hours: Our team is open to flexible working across 4 or 5 days. Veterinary surgeons currently work a range of shifts, for example 8:00am-4:00pm, 9:00am-5:00pm, 11:00am-7:00pm. The shifts vary day to day to allow for all veterinary surgeons to have some early and some later start times. It also allows flexibility to request a certain shift on a certain day if needed. The weekend rota is usually 1 in 4 working Saturday 8am - 12:30pm and weekends can be swapped if needed. There are no out of hours.
Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
