Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and verify their details
- Explain the phlebotomy procedure to patients
- Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate records
- Take various patient measurements, including height, weight, and waist circumference
- Collect and maintain venous blood samples according to UK guidelines
- Ensure samples are prepared for delivery to the correct laboratory within required timescales
- Communicate effectively with the in-store Pharmacist and pharmacy team
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist is desirable, but full training will be provided
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Empathetic and approachable with excellent communication skills
- Digitally savvy and comfortable with technology
- Passion for customer care and working in healthcare
