Phlebotomy Specialist

The Relief Phlebotomist role is an exciting opportunity to work with Boots, a leading healthcare company, in partnership with Our Future Health, a charity aiming to transform the prevention, detection, and treatment of conditions such as dementia, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, warmly welcoming participants, verifying their details, and explaining the Phlebotomy procedure in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage clerical responsibilities, including coordinating appointment bookings for the phlebotomy service and ensuring adequate stock levels of essential materials for seamless service delivery.
- Take and maintain venous blood samples from participants, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Support on the healthcare counter, providing valuable support to patients and customers, offering informed advice on healthcare products and services.
- Complete an NVQ2 Healthcare training programme to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Work flexibly, including weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
