Phlebotomy Specialist

The Relief Phlebotomist role at Boots Opticians involves traveling to stores around the region, up to 60 minutes from the base store, to provide phlebotomy services. Travel expenses are covered by the company.
A full driving license and access to a car are necessary for this role due to supporting other stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming participants, verifying their details, and explaining the phlebotomy procedure.
- Managing clerical responsibilities, including coordinating appointment bookings and ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Taking and maintaining venous blood samples from participants.
- Supporting on the healthcare counter, providing advice on healthcare products and services.
- Completing an NVQ2 Healthcare training program.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist is desirable, but full training will be provided.
- Passion for healthcare and customer care.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
