Job Title: Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Davies Group. As an Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our business by analyzing and interpreting complex data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform our decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze claims files and provide reports and information to clients and file handlers on the outcome of the analysis.
  • Use desktop systems and analytical techniques to research and locate relevant information that validates or rules out concerns and detects potentially fraudulent information.
  • Compile reports/profiles on individuals and groups involved in suspected fraudulent activity.
  • Prepare witness evidence, including statements, to adduce the results of analysis in court proceedings where necessary.
  • Utilize IT software applications at an advanced level to produce proactive intelligence reports.
  • Deliver structured and detailed briefings to lawyers and clients on all key facts relating to specific investigations as required.
  • Prepare reports detailing intelligence-led fraud risk assessments in relation to insurance fraud and fraud ring investigations.
  • Produce reports/briefings in accordance with the intelligence cycle and utilizing the National Intelligence Model.
  • Mentor trainee analysts on an informal basis.
  • Achieve a daily chargeable target.
  • Comply with service level agreements as required on a client-specific basis and in accordance with internal benchmarks.
  • Record time in accordance with Davies Group policy.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of the legal framework within which intelligence can be disclosed.
  • Draft comprehensive and professional reports summarizing key issues.
  • Basic level of commercial awareness.
  • Communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Confidence and ability to liaise with clients/customers when presenting a reasoned, logical argument.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and be innovative in thinking.

This role is based in Bolton, with the option to work from home one day a week.
