Car Park Assistant Job Description


We are seeking friendly and helpful individuals to assist with traffic flow and customer parking in a Xmas Car Park Marshall role.


The successful candidate will be responsible for directing customers towards empty car parking spaces, assisting them with loading their vehicles if needed, and ensuring a smooth parking experience.


This is a temporary position for the week leading up to Christmas, with no prior experience required. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure our team members feel confident and prepared.



About the Role

In this role, you will be working outside in all weather conditions, therefore we require you to wear a white shirt, black skirt/trousers, and black shoes. A warm hi-vis jacket, hat, and marshalling equipment will be provided.



Key Responsibilities

  • Directing customers towards empty car parking spaces
  • Assisting customers with loading their vehicles
  • Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude at all times


What We Offer

A competitive hourly rate of £11.94 per hour, paid in accordance with the following pay dates:


Hours worked between 16th & 22nd December 2024 will be paid on Friday, 27th December 2024.


Hours worked from the 23rd to 29th December 2024 (inclusive) will be paid on Friday, 3rd January 2025.


Hours worked from the 30th December to 5th January 2025 (inclusive) will be paid on Friday, 10th January 2025.



Salary Information

The total number of hours available is 30, including paid breaks, making the estimated weekly salary approximately £356.40 (£11.94 x 30).



Location

This role will be based at Tesco Llandrindod Wells, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic environment.
