About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Faculty Estates Officer to join our team at The University of Manchester. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities Directorate, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and operational support to our academic faculties and research institutes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the Estates and Facilities Directorate across the University, providing advice on strategic and operational property and facilities matters.
  • Lead and manage individuals within a team, setting and achieving clear objectives and performance goals.
  • Manage communication between project team members and other stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships across all partners and stakeholders.
  • Deliver projects and services to time, quality, and budget.
Requirements
  • An appropriate construction-related degree or professional qualification, ideally to a chartered level.
  • A proven track record of providing construction and project management advice in a customer-focused environment.
  • High levels of IT literacy, including contemporary office applications.
  • Experience of producing high-quality professional written reports and correspondence.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
