Job Title: Cost Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cost Consultant to join our UK Infrastructure business. As a Cost Consultant, you will work within our specialist Cost & Supply Chain Assurance team to help review and scrutinise actual incurred cost and drive supply chain improvement and efficiency for major programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review construction contractor systems, controls and processes to provide a view on their ways of working.
  • Plan financial audits by understanding our Clients' objectives and risk areas, as well as the supply chains' structure, policies and processes.
  • Perform testing of data and information using smart techniques and tools such as data visualisation and trend/pattern analysis.
  • Foster good quality working relationships with clients and those being reviewed built around trust and professionalism.
  • Assist the maintenance of internal systems to ensure commission and financial management is compliant with business process.

Requirements:

  • Data analysis - ability to review and draw insights from large quantities of data in various formats.
  • Report writing - communicating complex messages succinctly to maximise impact.
  • Contract Management - NEC3/4 (Option C, E) preferred.
