Job Overview

My client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. As a key member of the Group HR Team, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering HR services to the business site in Sittingbourne.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational HR support and leadership to the business site.
  • Manage employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
  • Monitor probation deadlines and ensure managers are following the probation policy.
  • Advising and assisting management with performance management and capability.
  • Facilitate and advise on all sickness absence and other absence, including statutory absences.
  • Administer employee-related paperwork, including employment contracts, new starter packs, and formal notices of termination.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law.
  • Provide payroll-related information.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including offboarding.
  • Provide and analyze HR-related statistics and HR Dashboard.
  • Take oversight of the company culture and lead change management processes.
  • Apply HR and business knowledge to evidence appropriate decision-making skills.
  • Assist in managing the implementation of specific HR projects, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Lead the recruitment process, including writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions.
Requirements
  • CIPD Qualified or proven experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment within manufacturing or warehousing.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Building relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Identify areas of improvement and streamline processes.
