Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Leader to join our team at Adainfrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading electrical design strategies for our UK data center program.



About the Role
  • Develop and implement electrical design strategies that enable our global program to bring capacity to market safely, quickly, and with high quality.
  • Direct the development of our UK electrical design roadmap, evaluating new technologies to determine their value in support of our customers' future needs and business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering and data center technologies, recommending new technologies to improve the reliability and efficiency of our data center infrastructure.
  • Provide leadership and direction to regional teams in support of implementing electrical design strategies globally.


About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in electrical design and/or electrical engineering, focusing on data center infrastructure.
  • Professional Engineering license.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design, utility sub-stations (HV), power distribution systems (MV & LV), UPS, and backup power systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Experience with electrical safety processes & procedures and SCCAF studies, including implementation.
  • Experience with high-density data centers and hyperscale environments.
  • Experience in construction methods, schedules, and budgets as it relates to data center electrical systems.
  • Experience with prefabrication/modular construction and manufacturing techniques.


Benefits and Salary Information

The salary range for this position is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including bonus eligibility, health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and more.
