Data Center Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Infrastructure Manager to lead our Global Data Center Design and Construction team in the EMEA Region. This role will play a key part in developing and implementing facility infrastructure design standards, technical site selection, and white space construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the EMEA team in designing, building, commissioning, and delivering data center critical infrastructure and network capacity for Oracle Cloud.
- Collaborate with other engineering managers across the Oracle Data Center Engineering organization.
- Assist in updating design standards and specifications for consistency, maximum system reliability, and optimal facility utilization.
- Provide mission-critical system review and assessment to support technical site evaluation efforts for new facilities.
- Research new designs, materials, and construction methods for data center equipment and related components.
- Develop capital project budgets and sophisticated business case analyses.
- Travel to data center sites to build relationships with pre-construction, construction, and QA/QC partners (15% - 25% travel).
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years professional experience in data center design, construction, operations, and maintenance, with at least 2 years of people management experience.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading teams and projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Construction, or other relevant engineering fields based on data centers. Advanced degree is beneficial.
- Extensive experience in engineering within the data center environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety standards including International Building Code.
- Ability to use metrics to drive improvements.
- Outstanding communications and presentation skills.
- Knowledge with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and PowerPoint software.
Estimated Salary Range: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and perks.
