About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Support Specialist Apprentice to join our team at QA. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge in IT systems and networking, while working on real-world projects and collaborating with our experienced IT staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and Analyze IT Incidents: You will be responsible for recording and analyzing IT incidents or requests, identifying the root cause, and implementing solutions to resolve the issue.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve IT Issues: You will troubleshoot and resolve assigned IT-related incidents, ensuring that customers are dealt with in a speedy, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Hardware and Software Configuration: You will configure hardware equipment, install and configure software to meet customer requirements, and ensure that all hardware assets are appropriately badged.
  • Customer Service: You will provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the level of service provided.
Requirements
  • Education: You must have 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject, and GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
  • Skills: You must have good customer service skills, an eye for detail, and be self-motivated. Good basic IT knowledge is also essential.
