Job Title: Surgical Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Specialist Dietitian to join our team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our dietetic team, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutritional care and support to patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical nutrition support to patients with cancer, including those undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, and other treatments.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and provide education to patients and their families on healthy eating and nutrition.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in oncology nutrition.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent.
  • Experience working in oncology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
