Job Title: Chef de Partie

At Houston & Hawkes, we're seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team in Bristol. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef/Sous Chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality and kitchen operation.
  • Contribute to the development and planning of menus, incorporating future food trends and innovative service concepts.
  • Monitor portion and waste control, ensuring efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Keep your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary, adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Stocktake and order supplies for your station, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing stockouts.
  • Improve your food preparation methods based on feedback, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Assist in other areas of the kitchen as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
  • Knowledge of the Hospitality industry and ability to run a section.
  • Ability to produce good-quality food and maintain high standards.
  • Desire to learn and grow with the company, seeking opportunities for development and progression.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
