People and Culture Strategist

About the Role
SmartSourcing plc is seeking an exceptional People and Culture Strategist to join our team. As a key member of the SMT, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and driving business success through effective people management.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR, with expertise in areas such as talent management, organisational development, and change management. You will work closely with senior leaders to identify opportunities for growth and develop targeted initiatives to address them.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a strategic people plan that supports our business objectives
- Driving talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent
- Managing employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives to enhance our company culture
- Collaborating with external partners to maintain and update our HR systems and processes
- Identifying and addressing skills gaps through targeted training and development programs
- Leading and promoting our company wellbeing program to enhance employee health and wellbeing
- Providing regular updates to the SMT on People & Culture metrics and KPIs
- Fostering equality and diversity in the business and working with the SMT to deliver People & Culture projects as required
Our Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a generous pension scheme, life assurance, and access to a range of employee discounts and perks. Our offices are located in the UK, with occasional travel required to other UK offices and possibly Europe.
