Talent Acquisition Strategist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Strategist to join our team. As the Recruitment Manager for our client, an international wildlife conservation charity, you will be responsible for leading their recruitment team and shaping the future of their organisation by attracting exceptional talent.
About the Role
In this role, you will design and execute strategic hiring initiatives that meet our long-term goals, champion our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and enhance our talent brand. You will use data-driven insights to evaluate and enhance recruitment practices, embedding EDI-focused interventions that ensure equitable hiring processes and inclusive outcomes across all candidate touchpoints.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the recruitment team in developing and implementing strategic hiring initiatives that meet our organisational goals
- Use data analysis to inform recruitment decisions and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, interview plans, and selection criteria
- Provide training and coaching to hiring managers on best practices in recruitment and EDI
- Manage the recruitment system to ensure its effective use across all hiring processes

What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of £47,250 - £49,875 per annum, plus a range of benefits including a generous pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and access to a blended wellbeing programme. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be in our office two days per week.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record in creating equitable hiring practices, supporting diverse talent pipelines, and empowering hiring managers with best practices to deliver a positive, inclusive candidate experience. You may have a blend of the following:
- A Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR
- Proven expertise in EDI-focused recruitment practices, including unconscious bias training and blind hiring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
