Job SummaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Community Project Officer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with families and their children, aged 0-12, and support our projects, Go Play Sandwell and The HuB Programme.
Key Responsibilities- Work with families and their children, providing support and guidance in various settings, including Family Hubs, libraries, and parks.
- Lead in setting up and supervising open access after-school and holiday sessions, delivering activities such as arts and crafts, sensory play, and gardening.
- Build positive relationships with local communities, supporting creative and interesting opportunities for play.
- Help to build confidence, skills, and increase the well-being of children and parents.
A full driving licence is essential for this role, which entails travel to various venues around Sandwell. We offer a competitive salary, flexible working hours, a health cash plan scheme, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, a workplace pension, and free refreshments.
