Job Overview
">TRADEBE is seeking a skilled Technical Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Mobile Technical Services (MTS) unit, you will play a critical role in the organization and coordination of hazardous waste collections from customer facilities.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all relevant legislation is adhered to while performing their duties. This includes maintaining accurate records, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • ">Organizing collections from client sites and delivering waste to transfer sites for disposal
    Maintaining provision of packing materials on site
    Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
    Technically assessing, segregating, labeling, and packing waste on client sites with documentation compliant with current UK legislation
    Collecting and loading waste onto transport vehicles using material handling equipment, safely driving company vehicles, and off-loading at hazardous waste sites
    Maintaining clean, safe, and orderly vehicles and reporting defects that prevent duties from being accomplished
    Complying with EU Drivers Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and local laws regulating safe driving and proper handling of Dangerous Goods

Requirements
">Educated to HNC level in Chemistry or related field
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
Holder of a valid EU driving license for at least two years and ADR license for packages (training provided if required)
Forklift Truck certification an advantage but training provided if required
First Aid vocational training an advantage but training provided if required
