Cell Biology Scientist Opportunity

CK Group- Science, Clinical and Technical is seeking a highly skilled Cell Biology Scientist to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for scientists looking to gain experience in drug discovery workflows and industrial settings.


About the Role

You will work collaboratively with other team members to perform cell biology activities, maintain mammalian cell cultures, and troubleshoot cell culture-related issues. You will also use lab information management systems and various equipment to support screening workflows.


Your Background

We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. You should have extensive experience in mammalian cell culture, excellent aseptic technique, and a proven track record in planning and performing mammalian cell-based assays.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain various mammalian cell cultures and troubleshoot cell culture-related issues.
  • Use lab information management systems and various equipment to support screening workflows.
  • Follow methodologies and operating procedures and record all work to the agreed company and departmental standards.
  • Help maintain a safe and efficient working environment and contribute to the daily running of laboratory operations.
  • Present information and data clearly to internal stakeholders.
