Cell Biology Scientist Opportunity

CK Group is seeking a highly skilled Cell Biology Scientist to join their team in Cambridge. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading Life Sciences research provider and contribute to the development of personalized medicines.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other team members to perform cell biology activities, maintain mammalian cell cultures, and troubleshoot cell culture-related issues. They will also use lab information management systems and various equipment to support screening workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
  • Maintain mammalian cell cultures and troubleshoot cell culture-related issues
  • Use lab information management systems and equipment to support screening workflows
  • Follow methodologies and operating procedures, and record work to company standards
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment and daily laboratory operations
  • Present information and data clearly to internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • PhD in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique
  • Proven track record in planning and performing mammalian cell-based assays
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
