Treasury Accountant

Hutcheon Mearns is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join our team in Dyce. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage bank accounts and reconcile statements
- Contribute to the preparation and approval of payment runs and manual payment proposals
- Maintain non-operational intercompany relationships, contracts, and billings
- Manage exchange rates within our ERP system
- Support the month-end close process and ensure timely completion of intercompany reconciliations
- Act as the primary point of contact for operational banking partners and debt financiers
- Maintain treasury schedules for interest and loan balances, ensuring compliance with external debt agreements
- Develop and implement a robust hedging strategy to mitigate interest rate and exchange rate risks
- Support the tendering process by advising on preferred currency splits for medium- and long-term cash planning requirements
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure the integrity of supplier master data for bank information
- Educated to college/university level or experienced in treasury and finance
- Excellent communication and team building skills
- Ability to work autonomously and self-motivate
- Flexible approach to support international operations across different time zones and cultures
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible working hours
