Treasury Accountant

Hutcheon Mearns Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join their team on a full-time, staff basis. This newly created role will be based in Dyce, with a hybrid working arrangement that offers flexibility and work-life balance.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in treasury roles, with a proven track record of managing financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. They will be responsible for maintaining non-operational intercompany relationships, contracts, and billings, as well as managing exchange rates within the ERP system.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations, and providing exceptional customer service to operational banking partners and debt financiers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Booking bank vouchers and reconciling bank accounts
- Preparation and approval of payment runs and manual payment proposals
- Maintenance of treasury schedules for interest and loan balances (internal and external)
- Development of robust hedging strategies to protect the business from adverse movements in interest rates and exchange rates
- Supporting vendor management with ownership of supplier master data for bank information
The successful candidate will be educated to college/university level or have equivalent experience in a treasury role. They will possess effective communication and team building skills, with the ability to work autonomously and self-motivate.
They will also have a flexible approach, with the ability to support international operations across different time zones and cultures. Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
