Treasury Accountant

Hutcheon Mearns Limited is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join their team on a full-time, staff basis. This newly created role will be based in Dyce, with a hybrid working arrangement that offers flexibility and work-life balance.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in treasury roles and will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, including booking bank vouchers, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing payment runs. They will also be responsible for maintaining non-operational intercompany relationships, contracts, and billings, as well as managing exchange rates within the ERP system.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. They will also have effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities- Manage the company's financial transactions, including booking bank vouchers and reconciling bank accounts
- Prepare and approve payment runs and manual payment proposals
- Maintain non-operational intercompany relationships, contracts, and billings
- Manage exchange rates within the ERP system
- Support the month-end close process, including intercompany reconciliations
- Be the key point of contact for operational banking partners and debt financiers
- Maintain treasury schedules for interest and loan balances (internal and external)
- Develop a robust hedging strategy to protect the business from adverse movements in interest rates and exchange rates
- Support the tendering process, advising on preferred currency splits related to medium/long-term cash planning requirements
- Support vendor management, with ownership of the integrity of supplier master data for bank information
- Educated to college/university level or experienced treasury professional
- Effective and proven communication skills at all levels internally and externally
- Effective team building skills, with the ability to work autonomously and self-motivate
