About the Role

AWE Plc Careers is seeking a Senior Mechanical Safety Engineer to join our Engineering Safety Organisation. This team provides professional engineering judgement for implementing technical engineering safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing competence standards, reviewing safe systems of work, contributing to procedure development, and evaluating risks associated with mechanical systems and equipment.

This position requires strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and experience in a similar role. The ability to communicate complex information effectively is essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of £47,690 - £70,000, dependent on suitability, qualifications, and level of experience.

A 9-day working fortnight pattern applies, with flexible working requests considered. Free onsite parking is available at our location between Reading and Basingstoke.
