About the Job
AWE Plc is now recruiting for a Senior Electrical Safety Engineer to join our Electrical Safety Team, within our Engineering Safety Organisation. The successful candidate will provide complex professional engineering judgement for the effective implementation of technical engineering safety.
The role requires setting, managing, and assessing standards of competence for Electrical Engineering Safety Appointed people. This includes reviewing suitability of Electrical safe systems of work for maintenance delivery by AWE and contract personnel, as well as providing advice on the safe and effective implementation of engineering safety.
Key responsibilities include having oversight of supply chain's specialist contractors application of engineering safety when delivering tasks, providing technical support in resolving complex and multifaceted issues across the business, and supporting the development and efficient operation of the Engineering Safety Organisation.
Salary and Benefits
We are offering a competitive salary range of £47,690 - £70,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and level of experience.
