SEND Support Assistant Opportunity

Milk Education is a leading agency that provides eco-friendly and purpose-driven supply solutions to schools in the Barnet area. We are currently looking for a dedicated SEND Support Assistant to work closely with a child in Year 6 at a supportive primary school.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Providing individualized support to a pupil with complex needs who is non-verbal
  • Consistently supporting pupils while responding to their unique needs
  • Collaborating with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluation, and adjusting lessons as necessary
  • Delivering catch-up sessions to support pupils' progress
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working within a school environment
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
