About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Catholic primary school in Barnet. As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a Year 4 boy with SEMH needs and ASD, providing tailored support and building a strong, trusting relationship with the child.

Key Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH needs and ASD, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Ability to engage the child in Maths-focused activities and explore creative ways to develop other skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with teachers, SEN specialists, and parents.

Salary Range: £85-£100 per day
