Job Title: Adult Community Services Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Adult Community Services Manager to join our team at Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the reception area, greeting patients, and supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and check demographics
  • Manage patient inquiries through email and telephone communication
  • Support the clinical team with administrative tasks
  • Prepare and organize clinical notes for sessions
  • Take payments of dental charges
  • Data validation as required
  • Waiting list management to support patient pathway
  • Participate in daily team huddles and specialty meetings
  • Diary management

Requirements:

  • GCSE/CSE level C or equivalent in Mathematics and English or equivalent administrative experience
  • RSA 2 or equivalent in typing or word processing
  • Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration or equivalent administrative experience
  • Experience of working with a wide range of professionals

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent keyboard skills
  • Evidence of extensive use of computer programs; Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel
  • Knowledge of information systems i.e. PAS, RiO

Personal Qualities:

  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to use own initiative and prioritize workload in a methodical approach to work
  • Ability to suggest and implement new procedures
  • Ability to follow tasks through to completion
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Has call centre/reception experience

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel between clinics to cover when required
  • Has full driving license/access to a vehicle
