Job Overview:

This corporate role is at the forefront of patient safety, collaborating with colleagues, teams, and external organizations. You will provide oversight and be a source of support, ensuring that patient safety is always a top priority.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Developing better systems and fostering cultural changes to enhance patient safety.
  2. Ensuring continuous quality and safety improvements by analyzing incident trends and escalating any concerns.
  3. Leading timely responses to safety incidents using various tools, creating and maintaining action plans to address issues.
  4. Conducting reviews and investigations to improve systems and processes.
  5. Meeting all reporting requirements and timelines, working with experts to manage risks and safety actions.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent vocational/professional qualification.
  • Highly developed specialist patient safety knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience to Postgraduate Diploma or Masters level.
  • Evidence of completion of safety-related modules or programmes of study in patient safety theory, quality improvement, project management, or continuous professional development.
