Job Summary:

The Clinical Operations Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities of our medical staff, ensuring smooth operations in our clinic. This includes maintaining accurate patient records, preparing specimens for lab analysis, and assisting with medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Support medical staff in their daily tasks, maintaining accurate patient records, and preparing specimens for lab analysis.
  • Verify patient information, record medical history, review medications, and confirm purpose of visit.
  • Perform phlebotomy and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Take phone messages, maintain supplies, and provide feedback to patients, MDs, and other staff members.
  • Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to MDs and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

A minimum of a medical assistant degree or equivalent experience (CNA, EMT, PCA, or PCT) is required. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20/hour, plus a $125 scrubs/uniform allowance. A bilingual Spanish speaking stipend is also available.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.

Benefits:

This role provides an estimated annual salary of around $41,600 based on 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year.
