Since 1996, we have grown from a business specializing in sub and super structures to a multi-million pound construction group headquartered in North London, with depots in Biggleswade, Elstree, Peterborough, and Nottingham.

We are seeking a skilled non-mechanical plant fitter to join our busy and fast-paced Plant department in Biggleswade.

This role requires experience in a similar position and excellent attention to detail.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm (1 hour break)

Duration: Long-term, permanent

Roles and Responsibilities:

Receiving and repairing plant returns, including pallet trucks, concrete skips, podium steps, alloy towers, fuel bowsers, toolboxes, and lift shaft gates.

Ensuring plant is maintained, presentable, and compliant for use.

Quality control of stock and parts.

Monitoring fleet numbers of incoming and outgoing stock.

Working as part of a team.

Using hand and power tools.

Skills and Qualities:

The ideal candidate will have mechanical repair experience within the plant hire sector.

Proficient in using a variety of hand tools.

Hold a full UK driving license.

Ability to work alone and as part of a team, managing own workload.
