The Role and the Department

The International Office is responsible for the recruitment of international students, supporting and managing the development of international partnerships, and managing the university's student mobility programs. As a member of the Global Opportunities Team, this role supports the delivery of the University's Global Strategy and achievement of relevant key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the administration of outgoing student exchanges with partner universities, including the payment of Turing grants to eligible students.
  • Support the development of key University partnerships.
  • Assist with the administration of international exchange programs, including the management of data and the preparation of reports.
  • Provide advice and guidance to students, staff, and external stakeholders on international exchange programs.
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers to work together on joint activities.
Requirements
  • Five GCSE's at least Grade C or level four (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics or a Post-16 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment delivering front-line administrative services to a high standard.
  • Experience of managing time to meet deadlines and working under pressure without compromising on quality.
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance to a range of customers and colleagues.
