Respiratory Specialist Physiotherapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Acute Respiratory Team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist respiratory care and rehabilitation to patients across various wards, including intensive care and out-patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and manage respiratory patients, working independently under the guidance of the team leader.
- Contribute to the professional development of self and others, participating in clinical education and training.
- Work as requested across a 7-day rota, including night shifts and on-call services.
- Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality, hospital equipment, and own safety, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
- Provide written and verbal feedback to the multidisciplinary team regarding patient rehabilitation needs and goals.
- Deputise for senior staff as required.

Requirements
- BSc Physiotherapy degree.
- Respiratory experience, with a minimum of 18 months post-graduate rotational experience.
- NHS experience, with a strong understanding of respiratory care and rehabilitation.
- Desirable qualifications include respiratory experience at Band 6, line management experience, electronic notes experience, and further qualifications in relevant areas.
