Job Title: Respiratory Physiotherapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our Acute Respiratory Team. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced physiotherapists to provide specialist respiratory care and rehabilitation to patients across the medical and surgical wards, intensive care, and out-patients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assessment and management of respiratory patients
* Development and implementation of individualized rehabilitation plans
* Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Participation in clinical education and training of students

Requirements:

* BSc Physiotherapy
* Respiratory experience
* NHS experience
* Postgraduate rotational experience of 18 months minimum

Job Responsibilities:

* To work independently under the guidance of the team leader and actively participate in the professional development of self and others.
* To contribute to other departmental activities including clinical education of students.
* To work as requested across a 7 day rota.
* To participate in provision of on call or other 'out of hours' services in evenings and Bank Holidays.
* To ensure compliance with confidential patient records, hospital equipment and own safety in line with Trust policies and procedures.
* To provide written and verbal feedback to the multidisciplinary team regarding communicating rehabilitation needs/goals required to facilitate safe discharge.
* To deputise for senior staff as required
