Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Acute Respiratory Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist respiratory care and rehabilitation to patients across medical and surgical wards, intensive care, and out-patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage respiratory patients, working independently under the guidance of the team leader.
  • Contribute to clinical education of students and participate in departmental activities.
  • Work as requested across a 7-day rota, including night calls and on-call services.
  • Ensure compliance with patient records, hospital equipment, and own safety in line with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Provide written and verbal feedback to the multidisciplinary team regarding rehabilitation needs and goals.
  • Deputise for senior staff as required.
