About the Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Programme Facilitator to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a Programme Facilitator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering subject matter and materials for groups and pods, engaging with debriefing and evaluations, and providing advice, support, and recovery-focused interventions to service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups and pods
  • Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups and pods have taken place
  • Provide advice, support, and recovery-focused interventions to service users
  • Lead on graduation events for service users who have completed the programme
  • Tailor specific workshops around the needs of service users, such as anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community
  • Work with service users to support social reintegration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination
  • Work and liaise with other agencies involved in the service user's broader care plan, including health services, hospitals, and GPs

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and recovery, experience of working with groups and pods, and managing group dynamics. You should also have experience of Motivational Interviewing and Psycho-Social Interventions, and be able to identify the specific needs of groups.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of the importance of information governance processes and commitment to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
