Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at Finning International. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for providing expert field service and repair support to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on heavy equipment, including Caterpillar products.
  • Provide comprehensive quotes and estimates to customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve high-quality results and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained service engineer with experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of field-based diagnosis tools and equipment, as well as heavy earth moving equipment operating knowledge.
  • LDV driving license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the business.
