Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our field service team at Finning International. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for providing expert repair and maintenance services to our customers' heavy equipment, ensuring their machines are running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on heavy equipment, including Caterpillar products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve service goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service.
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained service engineer with a strong background in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of field-based diagnosis tools and equipment, as well as experience with a variety of construction and static machines.
  • LDV driving license and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
