We are looking for a highly skilled Healthcare Unit Supervisor to lead our mental health ward in Bristol. This is a full-time opportunity with a salary of £52,000 - £62,000 per annum.

About the Role

This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing nursing staff, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will also be responsible for managing medicines, leading on-call rota duties, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee nursing staff rotas and ensure effective e-rostering
  • Conduct clinical investigations, complaints, and HR-related investigations
  • Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberties
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need NMC registration as a first-level nurse or HCPC registration, along with experience in mental health care or relevant clinical settings. A willingness to undertake further training in clinical, managerial, and leadership areas is also essential.
