Job Title: Psychology Support Assistant

We are seeking a Psychology Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Psychology Support Assistant, you will work with children with additional needs in primary schools across Swindon and Wooton Bassett.

About the Role:

This is a perfect opportunity for Psychology students or graduates to gain experience working with children with diverse needs. You will work alongside a team of dedicated staff to provide support and guidance to children with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and physical disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to children with additional needs in primary schools
  • Work alongside a team of dedicated staff to deliver high-quality support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with children, parents, and school staff
  • Contribute to the development of individualized support plans for children
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Psychology degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children with additional needs (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
