About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Director of Business Development to lead our sales process, drive new business, and establish us as a leading player in the hotel industry. As a key member of our global sales team, you will contribute to our growth plans by identifying opportunities, formulating strategic sales initiatives, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales process from identifying targeted accounts to closing strategic opportunities within your defined region.
  • Exceed annual new business sales quotas across your assigned territory and prospect accounts.
  • Uncover integration and delivery requirements, agreeing on timelines for successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop Account-Based Marketing initiatives (ABM) that support business growth plans.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for targeted accounts within the region, managing all pipeline activities and opportunities using Salesforce CRM tools.
  • Own the contract process with prospective clients.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable business deliverables, working closely with engineering teams to clarify timelines and requirements.

Requirements

  • Deep domain experience in the hotel/travel industry, preferably focused on the technology sector.
  • Experience in electronic distribution (CRS, IBE), revenue management system (RMS), customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Business-to-Business Sales experience.
