Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at beBee Professionals in Darlington. As a key member of our educational support team, you will play a vital role in helping students with special educational needs overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons, focusing on building confidence and promoting academic success.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters social and emotional growth.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to ensure seamless support and progress monitoring.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, with a strong understanding of their diverse needs and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with special needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs support are highly desirable.
