Job Description

THE POSITION:

The Associate Consultant, Global Pricing and Market Access will be responsible for delivering client consultancy projects and helping to manage project-related analytics, data, and tools available through our industry platforms, Pricentric and PriceRight. The consultant will enrich them with tailored insight and custom research, ensuring that client projects are delivered to schedule while maintaining the highest level of quality and value expectations.

As an Associate Consultant, you will support research and lead analysis focused on pricing, market access launch strategy, competitor research, value-based pricing analyses, HTA, and more. The resource should be expedited in leading and facilitating client analyses, identifying client needs and problems, and implementing robust data-driven solutions, and managing the team's workload to deliver the client deliverables.

The opportunity for growth and limitless effective consultants will also contribute to business development through the development of proposals and other initiatives as we reach our quarterly revenue goals.

The role is remote-based, ideally located in the European Union or in the UK, and the job holder must be legally eligible to work in the region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supports the design, development, and delivery of client analyses and deliverables
  2. Supports the development of client reports and presentations and delivery of all or significant portions of findings to the client, followed by a follow-up to ensure client satisfaction
  3. Leveraging business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives and project approaches to client questions
  4. Supporting the development of intellectual property for use on future engagements
  5. Developing broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical markets through on-the-job experience and training
  6. High attention to quality and detail with strong written and spoken English
  7. Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, able to present information in compelling and creative ways

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. B.S./B.A. in a relevant field of study is required
  2. 1-3 years of pharmaceutical, medical/health industry-related experience required
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead and own personal projects
  4. Self-awareness and accountability
  5. Strong conceptual, analytic, and problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent project management skills
  7. Ability to establish credibility in front of service clients at companies
  8. Solid understanding of pharmaceutical business practices and the issues clients face in specific segments of responsibility
  9. Working knowledge of the market research development process
  10. Quantitative and qualitative market research skills
  11. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  12. Ability to utilize large amounts of data and other types of information from multiple sources to complete a final analysis of a business question/situation and make recommendations
  13. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  14. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10-20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, MPH)
  2. Background in International Pricing and Market Access, analytics, and modeling/forecasting a plus to effectively lead Global Market Access and Pricing projects for key clients
  3. One plus years of management consulting experience
