Property Inspector/Inventory Clerk Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Property Inspector/Inventory Clerk. This role plays a crucial part in property management, facilitating smooth transitions between tenants, accurate billing, and ensuring accountability for property conditions.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough inspections of properties, including residential and commercial spaces, before and after occupancy
* Record detailed descriptions of property contents, including furnishings, appliances, fixtures, and other relevant items
* Assess the condition of items within the property, noting any damages, wear and tear, or defects
* Capture clear and comprehensive photographic evidence of property conditions to support written records
* Prepare detailed inventory reports documenting all findings, including descriptions, conditions, and photographic evidence
* Coordinate property inspections with tenants, landlords, and property management teams, ensuring all parties are informed and involved
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory databases, ensuring information is easily accessible and organised for reference
* Resolve disputes related to property conditions and inventories, providing factual documentation to support claims
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing property inventory procedures

Requirements:

* Attention to detail and ability to meticulously document property contents and conditions with high accuracy
* Strong organisational skills to manage inventory records, scheduling, and documentation effectively
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with tenants, landlords, and property management teams
* Proficiency in photography to capture clear and detailed images of property conditions
* Problem-solving abilities to identify issues and resolve conflicts related to property inventories
* Comfort with using inventory management software and digital tools for data entry and record-keeping
* Dependability and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering accurate results consistently
